AstroAPI supports multiple astrology systems, each designed for a specific category of application. Western (tropical) astrology is the default behavior for all endpoints. Other systems must be explicitly selected.

🌍 Western / Tropical Astrology
Default astrology system used by AstroAPI. Tropical zodiac, geocentric calculations, Western and Hellenistic conventions. No opt-in required.
⭐ Sidereal Astrology (Opt-In)
Optional sidereal coordinate system using ayanamsa offsets. Includes Moon nakshatras. Not full Vedic astrology.
🕰️ Nakshatra Timeline (Pro)
Sidereal-only nakshatra and pada transition timelines for planets. Geometry-only output. Pro plan required. Usage-weighted by date range.
🧠 Interpretation Astrology
Structured, deterministic interpretation signals derived from Western astrology. No prose, no language models, no chart generation.

Astrology systems are intentionally separated to preserve clarity, deterministic behavior, and predictable results for developers.
